Contact Extramovies
Corrections, streaming fixes and plain questions all reach the same desk, and the desk is the editor. There is one address, it is read by a person, and there is no form to fill in.
Write to the editor
Put the topic in the subject line: correction, streaming, or a question.
[contact address not set yet: the owner fills it in via the CONTACT_EMAIL env var on the box, or the SITE_CONTACT_EMAIL constant in src/lib/site-contact.ts]
Mention the review or the film in the first line. A message that names the page gets fixed faster than one that has to be matched to a title.
What to write about
Three kinds of message, and they are read in this order.
- A correction
- A review with a fact wrong, a credit wrong, or a score that does not match its own argument. Say which review and what is wrong. The correction goes into the review itself, and the review says it was corrected.
- A streaming fix
- A where-to-watch block naming a service that does not carry the film in your region, or missing one that does. Say which film and which country you are in.
- A general question
- Anything else about the archive, the ratings or the site. If the answer is already written down, the About page has it.
Response time
What happens after you press send.
The editor reads every message. Corrections to a published review come first, streaming fixes next, general questions last.
[reply window not set yet: the owner states it here, via the CONTACT_RESPONSE_TIME env var or the SITE_CONTACT_RESPONSE_TIME constant in src/lib/site-contact.ts]
There is no autoresponder, so a reply means a person read the message and looked at the page.
